Why Smoke Rollies?Smoking our Full Spectrum Hemp flower directly, whether you’re hand-packing a pipe or rolling a “Rollie,” is the fastest way to experience the hemp plant. When you smoke cannabinoids (i.e. like CBD, CBG, and CBDa) they are inhaled directly into the lungs where they rapidly enter the bloodstream and circulate through the body. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. What do your products do?Our friends tell us that TABOO SOCIAL CLUB Rollies tend to widen smiles without altering minds. :) *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Do your products help with anxiety? It bums us out that anxiety and depression are so common these days...and that we are legally not allowed to make any health claims. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. -
Do your products get you high? Some people report getting a mellow buzz from our Rollies, but usually only after taking a full Rollie. Our products contain a multitude of cannabinoids (such as, CBD, CBG, and CBDa) and other cannabinoids and terpenes, but contain only trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3%), which is the psychoactive cannabinoid in cannabis that has a tendency to make you feel high. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. -
Are your products legal in my state?Ever since the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp-derived CBD and CBG products like TABOO SOCIAL CLUB Rollies have been 100% legal on the federal level. And thanks to the cooperation of the good ol’ USPS, we can legally ship to states where Federal Industrial Hemp is legal. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. -
Can I fly with your products? You betcha. You can legally fly with all of our products throughout the USA. This includes our Rollies, Flower, and any other products we develop in the future, because they all contain less than 0.3% THC. Thank you Federal Farm Bill! That being said, because our products look like cannabis, you may be searched, but you have nothing to hide. It's all on the packaging. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Do your products expire?Definitely (but that’s a good thing). Flower is just like any other plant material, and because we only use 100% organic and sustainable hemp, that flower is susceptible to change once exposed to natural elements like air, water, humidity, and temperature, for instance. When stored properly, TABOO SOCIAL CLUB products will last for about six months to a year if the vacuum seal remains unbroken. All our products have a Best Used By date. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. What is Hemp?Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant and refers to the non-intoxicating (less than 0.3% THC) strains. Hemp and marijuana come from the same cannabis species but have different genetics and cannabinoid profiles, with hemp rich in cannabidiol (CBD) and other cannabinoids, and marijuana producing mostly psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
-
What is CBD?CBD or cannabidiol is a phytocannabinoid produced by the Cannabis sativa plant. This means that unlike the Endocannabinoids synthesized inside of our body, CBD is found in hemp. CBD interacts with our body’s Endocannabinoid System. Research suggests that the major pathway for CBD’s actions is the inhibition of the breakdown of the endocannabinoid anandamide, just one of many endocannabinoids produced by our bodies and potentially impacted by CBD use. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

What is the difference between Hemp and CBD?CBD (Cannabidiol) is a chemical compound that comes from the hemp plant. There are 113 unique compounds found in hemp known as cannabinoids, of which CBD is just one of these abundant compounds. CBG, CBDa, and THC are other common cannabinoids. Cannabinoids can be either consumed (phytocannabinoids) or produced naturally by the body (endocannabinoid). *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. I see Hemp and CBD products at the gas station. What makes your products different? Not all hemp products are created equal. The Hemp CBD market is unregulated, meaning companies can say whatever they want. A lot of the hemp companies who state they have the best "Full Spectrum" Hemp CBD products, when looking at their lab results, are actually using CBD isolates, are extracting their hemp using harsh solvents (like butane), grow their Hemp using pesticides, or put a bunch of additives in their products that you probably don't want in your body. Not us!!! Harsh, non-organic, growing methods can strip hemp of it's full cannabinoid and terpene profiles, and it is those cannabinoids and terpenes that contain most of the plant compounds, such as CBN, CBC, CBG, CBDA, and CBDV. These cannabinoids are not psychoactive and are being extensively studied scientifically for a wide variety of applications. Not only that, but we are always researching and growing Specific Hemp Strains for specific reasons. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. What does Hemp do?Hemp is more than just CBD. Full Spectrum Hemp contains a multitude of other cannabinoids (like CBG, CBDa, and THC) and Terpenes (like Pinene, B-Caryophyllene, Myrcene, etc) and other plant compounds. OUR FAVORITE CANNABINOIDS: CBD: Cannabidiol (CBD) is being studied for a multitude of applications. Because CBD interacts with the Endocannabinoid System (mainly by inhibiting breakdown of anandamide) its potential may extend to many biological processes within our bodies, but research is currently inconclusive at this time.* CBG: CBG is currently being researched in regards to osteoblastic activity.* CBG has been found to act on very specific systems as it acts on distinct Endocannabinoid Receptors. In particular, CBG binds to both receptors CB1 and CB2, and amplifies the effects of anandamide (a neurotransmitter known as the “bliss molecule").* CB1 receptors are usually found in the Nervous System and Brain. CB2 receptors are mainly found in the Immune System. CBDa: CBDa interacts with the Endocannabinoid System by inhibiting the COX-2 enzyme.* *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Do your products have THC in them?Despite the scientific name Cannabis sativa, industrial Full Spectrum Hemp has a maximum level of 0.3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Compare that to medical cannabis, which can have up to 30% THC. Hemp also has a high cannabidiol (CBD) content that acts as THC’s antagonist. While you may consume these products while maintaining a clear mind, the below 0.3% THC level in any Full Spectrum Hemp product could make it possible to fail a drug test. Ever since the passage of the 2018 Federal Farm Bill, hemp-derived CBD and CBG products like TABOO SOCIAL CLUB Rollies have been 100% legal on the federal level because they contain less than 0.3% THC. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. -
Is it possible to fail a drug test when consuming full spectrum hemp products? It is possible to fail a drug test when you are consuming any Full Spectrum Hemp product. All true Full Spectrum Hemp products contain trace amounts of THC (below 0.3%) that can build up in your system over time, and could potentially cause a failed drug test. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
-
Are there any prescription drug interactions with hemp?Although studies of CBD generally reflect a low risk of clinically significant drug interactions, prescription drugs that are metabolized by the cytochrome P450 or CYP450 family of liver enzymes could be impacted by concurrent use of CBD. These drugs include Warfarin, Theophylline, Clobazam, Valproate, and potentially other prescribed and over-the-counter medications. Taboo Social Club is not offering medical advice. Please speak with your healthcare provider before taking any full spectrum hemp products or any new supplements. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. -
Is it possible to overdose on Full Spectrum Hemp?Full Spectrum Hemp is non-toxic, and zero fatal overdoses have ever been reported. According to one 2011 study, doses of up to 1,500 mg of CBD per day could be tolerated in humans. *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Cannabinoids, The Endocannabinoid System, and more. How do our products work in the body? Great question! Firstly, the cannabinoids we mainly work with in our strains are CBD, CBG, and CBDa. These cannabinoids each act on different pathways in the body through the Endocannabinoid System. The Endocannabinoid System is the largest neurotransmitter system in the human body.* CBD: Cannabidiol (CBD) is being studied for a multitude of applications. CBD interacts with the Endocannabinoid System (mainly by inhibiting breakdown of anandamide).* CBG: CBG has been found to act on very specific systems as it acts on distinct Endocannabinoid Receptors. In particular, CBG binds to both receptors CB1 and CB2, and amplifies the effects of anandamide (a neurotransmitter known as the “bliss molecule").* CB1 receptors are usually found in the Nervous System and Brain. What is the Endocannabinoid System? The Endocannabinoid System is a complex biological system in the human body. Medical researchers discovered it in the 1990s, but much is still unknown about how it works and its interactions. Today, experts know that it impacts several major processes, including appetite, sleep, mood, and memory, but there is much more yet to be discovered.* The Endocannabinoid System has three components: receptors, enzymes, and endocannabinoids. These parts function regardless of whether someone uses Hemp or not.* Here is an overview of each component: Receptors exist throughout the body and are a substance to which endocannabinoids bind. Understanding the effects of Full Spectrum Hemp involves examining the relationship between the receptors and endocannabinoids. There are two types of receptors: CB1 and CB2.* CB1 receptors are primarily in the Central Nervous System and Brain.* CB2 receptors are in the Peripheral Nervous System and Immune System.* After the enzymes break down the cannabinoids, the endocannabinoids look to bind with receptors.* *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. What is the difference between Full Spectrum Hemp and Broad Spectrum Hemp?Unlike many hemp products on the market, Taboo Social Club uses Full Spectrum and Strain Specific Hemp. Full Spectrum Hemp contains all the plant compounds found in the hemp plant (i.e. terpenes, other cannabinoids, flavonoids, etc.) instead of just one compound. Singular compound products are known as Isolates or Broad Spectrum.* *No statements on this site have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
